2008 NEW Rules

1.                  No need for a rider rep. Approach the judge with respect

2.                  if a herd escapes, it can be brought back in

3.                  in a very large arena, the depth of the pen can increased

4.                  All riders will be rated accordingly, including Jr. Youth.  The only requirement for competing in either Youth class is age eligibility

5.                  The Judge may call an “intentional roughing”.  A rider awarded an intentional roughing will be eliminated from competition for the show in which the intentional roughing was incurred.  The rider may also be subject to further suspension and monetary fines as deemed appropriate by the sanctioned association and/or the CTCPA.
